Saulius Sondeckis Art Gymnasium Hall in Šiauliai
The hall had inadequate sound-absorbing ceilings, the walls were left flat, and there was a strong "ringing" effect of parasitic echoes. After some measurements and calculations, we have decided to transform the ceiling from a sound absorbing to an open type, thus increasing the volume and the reverberation time of the room. Acoustic diffusers/screens have been used for the wall finishes to create a diffusive field in the room and to eliminate unwanted reflections.
